Monday Period 3 with Mr Truscott

Today in period 3 we wrote out our questions that we were going to ask Amanda Phillips (the woman from the Art Gallery), and determined who was going to ask which questions. These questions were about what appeals to the gallery's audiences, what is involved in making an exhibition and the creative processes involved.
After sorting out our questions we then looked at the law, privacy and legal/ illegal scenarios with filming the public. If people are photographed or filmed without their knowledge and featured in a magazine article or a television program or something of the sort, again without their knowledge then this is illegal. if you are making a documentary and stop to interview random people then this is legal. If a person is filmed on their doorstep without prior warning then this is illegal as it an invasion of privacy. If you walk into the art gallery and start filming this is illegal as they have a strict policy due to artists regulations and copyright. Asking a persons consent to film them, this is legal to film if they approve. If you find a graffiti wall and start filming this is legal as it is public and for anyone to see. We then googled "Ofcom" and viewed the privacy section. This is a website foe all to access telling you all the rules and regulations to just about anything. We all got copies of the legal/ illegal sheet and our questions sheet for tuesday.
